VIDA - Experimental Workshop
The Kacadu team was invited by the Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture Dresden to share our vision for circular and modular design. We introduced the first VIDA prototype, a foldable and interlocking building system (3D-printed from bioplastic) to show how simple design can empower people to build, adapt, and reimagine space.
We transformed the space into an open experimental playground where participants of all ages could directly engage with the system.
Hundreds of small-scale VIDA bricks were placed into the hands of children, students, designers, and local residents, inviting them to intuitively explore how the modular elements could connect, fold, and expand into larger structures.
