Designers, researchers, and makers working at the intersection of material innovation, modular architecture, and environmental engagement.
SARA - From origami to orbit
A design system inspired by bionics, soft robotics, and origami-logic engineering.
Developed for space and adaptable to Earth, it redefines how we build in extreme or shifting environments. Funded and supported by ESA BIC Czech Republic.
SARA advances through rapid prototyping, pushing the frontier of deployable space architecture while developing terrestrial applications such as emergency shelters and adaptive climate façades.

An open-source urban design system that uses your neighbours' old furniture.
VIDA transforms public waste into architectural potential, offering a hands-on, low-cost way to shape public space, empowering citizens to become designers of their own environments.
Piloted in Berlin, VIDA is a modular building system that transforms urban waste and by-products – such as wood offcuts, recycled plastics, or fiber-based composite materials – into reusable building blocks. Currently being developed, soon to be deployed in July 2026, together with other innovative projects, all selected winners of the 100m Zukunft (Future) – Berlin's real-world laboratory.
KACADU is participating in the ESA Business Incubation Centre, Czech Republic.
This project was implemented with financial support from the Technology Incubation program.
